HEARTLAND PARTNERS WITH LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL

Alexandria, MN, December 15, 2016 - ITW Heartland has partnered with the Alexandria Area High School's (AAHS) Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) program to provide real-life work experience for local students. 

The CAPS network, which AAHS joined during the summer of 2015, was created to promote "profession-based learning, responsiveness, self-discovery and exploration, professional skills development and an entrepreneurial mindset."

Authored by key Spiroid Engineering personnel, this document augments Spiroid's marketing literature by focusing on Spiroid & Helicon's technical foundation and highlighting their basic theory, sizing and application design. HEARTLAND TO PARTICIPATE IN UPCOMING TOUR OF MANUFACTURING EVENT

Alexandria, MN, September 27, 2016 - On Thursday, October 6th, ITW Heartland will participate in the 'Dream It. Do it. Minnesota Statewide Tour of Manufacturing' events. 'Dream it. Do it.' is a national manufacturing careers recruitment strategy developed in 2005 by The Manufacturing Institute. Minnesota is one of approximately 33 states currently participating in this effort which was created to attract workers to fill the approximately 600,000 open manufacturing jobs in the U.S. Its focus is to increase awareness of the high paying, high quality career opportunities available in manufacturing.

SPIROID & ITW HEARTLAND EMBARK ON ANOTHER UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN

Alexandria, MN, August 31, 2016 - August 19th began what is sure to be another successful United Way campaign for the women and men who make up ITW Heartland and its Spiroid gearing business. This year's activities will kick off September 1st and conclude on the 17th. Fund raising events will include a cook out, a sports fan day, a chili contest, raffle drawings and more.

This will be ITW Heartland's 18th consecutive United Way campaign. With the help of corporate matches from parent company Illinois Tool Works, ITW Heartland employees have been directly responsible for over $175,000 in donations since 2010. Heartland employees are proud to know that all of this money has gone to help local Alexandria-area communities in Douglas and Pope counties.

Alexandria, MN, August 8, 2016 - ITW Heartland, a leading producer of precision engineered machines, parts, gears and electro-mechanical products, is excited to announce the launch of a new Spiroid-focused website, www.spiroidgearing.com.

This new site recognizes the need for a single, dedicated space to drive awareness and knowledge about the Spiroid product portfolio.
